“People are our most VALUABLE asset!” (Gentlemen, Start Your Bidding for the People LOTS!!!)

Champion Personnel is a large staffing service. We pride ourselves on personal service, attempting to give more than others. 47 years in business. 2nd oldest in NE Ohio, and much larger than the oldest. We don’t treat people like CATTLE, and don’t like organizations who do.

We have been an approved vendor for MetroHealth for two years. Recently, we received what on the surface seemed to be the “Typical” bid package from them, but it had a twist: It was online and it had 3-5 sections. No salaries for positions (make it difficult to tell how to “bid, with markups and final prices). MH had contacted us once in two years, but the THIRD PARTY ADMIN for the Bid Process told us that we were chosen by MH to bid based upon our impeccable reputation and GREAT relationship we had with MH!!! We were ENCOURAGED to participate. We looked at the entire process: about 20-30 positions to bid on in “LOTS” (kinda like CATTLE). Champion does 20 times that each day via PHONE.

Mind you…this is an ONLINE AUCTION to hire people.

In the AUCTION BIDDING….the bidders have to bid in twenty-five cent INCREMENTS, during the ONLINE AUCTION bidding process!! As the bids get LOWER (supposedly), and the time gets close to over, there can be OVERTIME!!!! The BIDDING can keep getting lower as “employment agencies” BID on EACH PERSON TO HIRE, LOWER AND LOWER!!! (Yes, please do a movie visual on this)

Now…the agencies are bidding on DOCTORS to be hired by MH, not just clerical. AND pharmacy techs and Professionals!

MH is doing hiring of professional positions via LOWEST AUCTION BID!!! DOCS!!!! PHARMACISTS!!!

I certainly will choose MH for MY next surgery!!! Maybe they will take a buck two-fifty? Maybe I can bid and negotiate with them.

Metro Health is a NORTH COAST 99 Company!!! (Top Talent attractor!!!) as Champion has been. They are supposed to care about their people, how they get them, and how they view the employee (and vendor) as a valuable asset.

Here are the BIDDING instructions so you don’t think we are kidding: Please make note of the $.25 increment in bidding, AND the “LOTS” (People?) and the fact that there will be OVERTIME in this reverse ebay AUCTION to hire people!

MH is using an EXPENSIVE OUT OF TOWN “consulting firm” to help them in this process. Certainly the way to go to keep mecial attention HIGH and costs LOW!!

Updates to RFQ/Additional Information:

Metro Health: Get real. This is NOT supposed to be a CATTLE AUCTION. There are things that a professional recruiting service can do for you, none of which can be done by auction.
