The Pranksta — Memorial Day

Memorial Day

I’d like to set the pranks aside to honor the real reason for this holiday weekend.

This weekend serves as a start to the summer for most families, but for some it serves as a time to remember fallen soldiers, and current soldiers serving overseas fighting for our freedom.

I have a little brother serving in the United States Navy in San Diego, California.

He is serving his third year.  He is currently on assignment in Italy. My family and I couldn’t be more proud of him.  He is the first in our family to have joined the military.

When you are hanging out with friends and family this weekend enjoying each others company just think of the men and women who have lost their lives serving our country and the ones who are serving now …after all…. we wouldn’t be celebrating if it weren’t for them in the first place.

“The legacy of heroes is the memory of a great name and the inheritance of a great example.”       Benjamin Disraeli

With respect,
